And as part of Crown Castle, we’re an S&P 500 company that is dedicated to long-term ownership and operation of communications infrastructure. This diverse portfolio includes over 40,000 cell towers, 50,000 small cell nodes on air or under contract, and 60,000 route miles of fiber—giving our customers access to a unique and comprehensive network offering. Who is Crown Castle?

Crown Castle is dedicated to the long-term ownership and operation of communications infrastructure—including cell towers, small cells, and fiber. This comprehensive mix of assets makes possible the world’s most revolutionary technologies—including the voice and data we rely on every day. As a stable S&P 500 company with significant resources, we are committed to creating spaces where ideas can be shared, boundaries are erased, and innovation thrives.

Why should I choose Crown Castle Fiber?

We are a stable S&P 500 company who has been committed to the long-term ownership and maintenance of network assets for over 20 years. Unlike some companies that lease their fiber, we own our network—making us directly invested in their integrity and allowing us to provide faster response times and issue resolution. Before building your network, we take the time to understand your needs and deliver a solution that’s right for you. Each of your needs are carefully considered and calculated to provide a solution that meets all of your security and bandwidth requirements well into the future. After your network is up and running, our local service teams offer personalized on-the-ground service you can rely on. And our fully staffed Network Operations Center (NOC) monitors your network around-the-clock so we can proactively respond to changing circumstances and provide you with unmatched reliability and peace of mind.

I was a customer of a company you recently acquired. How will that impact me?

While the name of the company you do business with has changed, our commitment to you and your needs remains the same. We will continue to deliver the highest levels of reliability, personalized service and custom solutions you have come to expect. In addition, now that we are a part of Crown Castle, you get the peace of mind that comes with working with a stable S&P 500 company that has an established history of long-term ownership of network assets—including towers, small cells, and 60,000 route miles of fiber.

How do I contact support for network monitoring and maintenance questions?

We are dedicated to supporting our customers and ensuring that your network is always functioning at its peak performance. Our fully staffed Network Operations Center (NOC) is available 24 hours a day and can be contacted at 1-855-91-FIBER. They monitor your network around-the-clock, and will provide immediate support in the case of an outage.

Where does Crown Castle Fiber operate?

We own 60,000 route miles of fiber that stretch across the United States and into most major metropolitan areas. You can explore our map, but take note that we are growing quickly, and even if we aren’t in your area yet, we may be soon. Contact a sales representative to learn which solutions may be available where you live.

What’s the difference between a dedicated, private connection and a traditional solution offering from a local cable provider?

The difference between a private network and the public internet can be compared to driving on your own private road versus a busy interstate. With the public internet, your data is less secure and is competing with other traffic that can significantly slow you down. But with a dedicated private connection—whether through dark fiber or a managed solution—your data never passes through the public cloud. Essentially, you get a higher level of security and full control of your network’s speed and capacity.

Is Crown Castle Fiber a certified E-rate service provider?

Yes. As a certified E-rate provider, we are committed to helping schools and libraries create customized networks that seamlessly meet current and future education IT demands in a cost-effective manner. Both our E-rate eligible managed private ethernet and dark fiber solutions support the consolidation of voice, video, and data over your network—paving the way for exciting new education applications.

Is my district or facility eligible for E-rate?

Typically, most K-12 educational facilities, consortia, and libraries are eligible, but there are some requirements. A facility’s or district’s eligibility can be determined by verifying information on the USAC website.

What products does Crown Castle Fiber offer?

We offer both dark and managed fiber solutions, as well as several additional network services that can be added on to either service. This includes internet services, DDoS protection, cloud transport, and colocation. We can work with you to determine the right mix of solutions for your organization. Contact us to learn more.

Does Crown Castle Fiber provide residential internet service?

No, we are not a residential internet service provider, so we are unable to provide services to homes or home offices. Our customers are large enterprises, school districts, and wholesale providers.

I’d like to expand my network. How do I learn more?
